How do you feel about it?
I know, I’ve felt the same way when I started on the project. You started working and you are working everyday hoping that some one will join you and someone will use your work. But hey; nobody even care.
Now before you start on blaming every politician, you’ve to listen to this.
First let me ask you few question.
- Who uses Sinhala wikipedia?
- Do we really need an encyclopedia in Sinhala?
- Do we have something that can be called a Sinhala community?
- Do people like to work in Sinhala?

Who uses Sinhala wikipedia?
I do not think many people use it
But it will be used as soon as some science articles are translated.There are almost no place in the internet to get science knowledge in Sinhala.
It is very hard when you refer English sites because the terms are compltely different!
Do we really need an encyclopedia in Sinhala?
Yes ofcourse
1) We must have somewhere we could use to find extra information in Sinhala to support school studies.
2)And also a place to find extra information for day-to-day work.
Just think "if you want to know what are the chemicals in vinegar we use to make food"
Where would you go?
Well,as you know the name in English you can type it in the Eng Wiki
But if you do not know?
Do people like to work in Sinhala?

We do projects in Sinhala
So If we have a good Sinhala wikipedia we do not have to wait for the children news papers to translate the articles ,and collect all of them.
